Couple reveals baby's sex with dramatic, explosive display

When it comes to making a scene, one Nova Scotian couple hit it out of the park recently with their over-the-top baby gender reveal.

When figuring out a way to unveil the sex of their second child, Monica and Graham Driscoll decided to "take a play out of the ACME playbook" by using fireworks to light up the skies -- meaning they would either be blue for a boy or pink for a girl.

The couple's dramatic spectacle was also a shocking moment for them, as well as for those in attendance. In an interview with the Huffington Post, Graham Driscoll said, "We had no idea ourselves either," continuing, "the only people who knew were at the fireworks company (Fireworks FX) who had opened the envelope."

As the couple pushed the dynamite plunger, it became apparent that they're expecting a girl, as hot pink fireworks littered the sky. Watch the emotional scene below.
