Guns N' Roses announces surprise L.A. club show: Axl, Duff & Slash to reunite early
The reunited "classic" Guns N' Roses lineup will kick off its 2016 reunion with a just announced undersell show tonight (April 1) at Los Angeles' Troubadour nightclub.
The band broke the momentous news today with a spur-of the-moment announcement via press release. Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan will join forces in a matter of hours tonight at the 500-capacity venue that helped kick-start the band's career.
According to the official statement, "limited tickets" will go on sale today at 12 p.m. local time at Gibson Brands on 8801 Sunset Boulevard. Each lucky fan will have the opportunity to purchase one wristband for the "retro" price of $10, which will grant admission to the show. Doors for the show are 10 p.m. local time.
The show arrives in advance of six previously confirmed 2016 dates, lead by an April 8 concert at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena. GnR is also slated to play Coachella 2016.
