Gwen Stefani Says She's 'For Sure' In Love: 'God Knows What's Going To Happen'

Gwen Stefani has had a triumphant return with This Is What the Truth Feels Like, debuting as her first No. 1 album as a solo artist on the Billboard 200.

Although this is her third solo record, it's a fresh start for Stefani as she ventures on after ending her 13-year marriage with Bush's Gavin Rossdale, leaving us all wondering what's in store for her next.

Stefani spoke with Vanity Fair about her new album and the songwriting process during the tough transitions, explaining that the hardest part "was to get out of bed and go to the studio." And while "Used to Love You" may be her explicit heartbreak anthem, for Stefani the song is more about forgiveness than it is revenge: "It's admitting, I used to love you and now I don't. I opened this channel to writing again -- it was me being honest, being real."

Stefani also talked about only having had two romantic relationships in her life and admitted to being in love right now, hinting to her current relationship with Blake Shelton. She didn't want to elaborate on the relationship just yet, but did add how the life changes have influenced her music.

"But I feel like I'm in an amazing songwriting place; instead of being closed off, I'm thinking about positivity and how I can do something creative. I'm just doing what I want to do. It's so incredible to be in that zone. I'm always looking for the next song, and now I don't have to be insecure or write about heartache."

She goes on to talk about how she got involved with The Voice, balancing her many careers and personal life and how being a solo artist has given her the opportunity to work with many different people.
