With Tiger Woods' absence from the golf course over recent years, Nike has needed a bit more creativity to amplify its brand on the golf course. And with the help of their legacy sneakers, they've been doing just that.

Previously, the apparel giant recreated its famous Flyknit Chukka into a golf shoe. Michael Jordan was photographed wearing a golf version of the Air Jordan Vi. But this latest release may be the most popular of all.

In the form of the Nike LunarForce 1, the famous Air Force 1 sneaker is being reincarnated as a golf shoe.

The new shoe will feature a waterproof leather upper and Lunarlon cushioning. The release date is set for this Friday, April 1 -- just in time for the Masters.
