If you look from far away, it might be difficult to distinguish Jess Wolfe from Holly Laessig. Coordinating their entire outfit, including hair and makeup, the duo makes up the lead vocals for the band Lucius (the other three members Dan Molad, Peter Lalish and Andrew Burri also don look-alike ensembles). And while they may not be twins -- or sisters for that matter -- their perfect harmonies and flawless vocal blending feels like something only reserved to sibling singers who have genetics on their side. Their uniformity has turned their music into something that's three-dimensional; the music enhances the visual performance and vice versa.

It makes for a real treat when you listen to the indie-rock band. Lucius's latest album "Good Grief" especially keeps listeners on their toes. The five-piece's latest record is full of unapologetic pop beats crackling with energy, gospel-tinged powerhouse choruses, and an infectious swagger that just begs you to sing (and dance) along to tracks like "Born Again Teen" and "Something About You." But the real highlights are the lyrics themselves, which contribute to the album's overarching theme that goodness can come out of any hardship. It's an honest and striking collection of moments that read as if someone had opened up Lucius's personal journals.

And if you think their performances are amplified on the record, just wait until you hear the group live. Lucius is going to hit the stage tomorrow in New York City and you can get a front row seat without ever leaving your room.
