Like girlfriend Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton isn't being overly coy about addressing the personal turmoil in his life through his new music. The country star and judge on NBC's The Voice cooks up a meet-cute scenario in the video for "Came Here To Forget," the first single from his upcoming 12th studio album, If I'm Honest, due out on May 20.

Blake Shelton Drops Breakup Drinking Song 'Came Here To Forget'

The black and white video debuted on Tuesday night during the season premiere of Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch and it features multiple shots of Shelton staring out contemplatively at the ocean intercut with scenes of the singer sharing a drink with a beautiful stranger at a bar.

"Girl getting over him and I'm getting over her/ The eyes have it made, ain't gotta say a word/ Misery loves company, that's why it's you and me," he sings in lyrics that have led to rampant speculation that the song is a not-so-veiled reference to his breakup with ex-wife Miranda Lambert and hook-up with Stefani.

After watching the mysterious woman in a gauzy beach cover-up dance to the house band while politely refusing her invitation to join in, the clip winds down with a series of shots in which she poses on the beach and a final image of Shelton looking out into the surf with a sly smile.
