Plane passenger finds interesting place to rest her ponytail

Congrats to the ponytailed young woman in seat 22B. You've invented a whole new way to be awful at 35,000 feet. pic.twitter.com/VWTPMI5JrM

If you've ever flown in the middle seat, you've probably been party to a passive-aggressive fight over the armrests -- but this is something we've never seen before.
Boston Globe columnist Dante Ramos tweeted the above photo aboard a flight on Monday, which was met with near-unanimous condemnation of the long-haired traveler. Commenters suggested retribution ranging from pulling the errant ponytail, cutting it off, sticking gum in it and even, oddly, braiding it.
Other (far more patient) souls suggested he just ask her to move it. Which is apparently what happened.
For the record: After marveling for a bit at her obliviousness, we got her attention. She moved it. https://t.co/qalACLcFUr

So all's well that ends well -- but it could have been much worse. A flight from Florida to New York last year was diverted after two passengers got into a fight over a reclined seat.
According to a FiveThirtyEight poll 41 percent of people think it's rude to recline your seat, but we want to know what you think. Answer the poll below!
