Conor McGregor's UFC 196 defeat to Nate Diaz came as a shock to the MMA world earlier this month, but apparently oddsmakers don't expect the 27-year-old to drop a second consecutive match.

While a rematch with Nate Diaz for UFC 200 on July 9 isn't yet official, it's expected. Most sports books haven't yet revealed betting lines, but according to oddschecker.com, Irish bookmaker Paddy Power has McGregor as a -162 (8/13) favorite over Diaz, a +125 (5/4) underdog.

Diaz was able to make McGregor tap out on Mar. 5, executing a rear-naked choke in the second round.

It was McGregor's first fight at that weight -- he obliged Diaz's request to jump two weight classes on short notice. It was McGregor's first UFC loss.

MMA Junkie also notes that McGregor is -175 favorite in a potential bout with Frankie Edgar, and a -200 favorite in a potential rematch with Jose Aldo.

McGregor has been the favorite in every one of his UFC and Cage Warriors bouts, according to bestfightodds.com.
