Breathtaking cherry blossoms bloom around the world

The Japanese have celebrated spring for centuries by flocking to cherry blossom trees and enjoying the beautiful pink flowers. They even have a word for it -- hanami.

The blossoms don't last very long once they bloom, usually sticking around about 14 days.
