UFO hunter says face appearing in nebula was created by aliens
People often see the same things in very different ways.
Such is the case with NGC 3324, a stellar nursery located on the edge of the Carina Nebula.
Images of the area, located roughly 7,500 light years away from our planet, distinctly show a shape that looks like a face, but opinions are split on what the creating forces may be.
Scientists attribute the formation to a combination of gas, dust, and ultraviolet light.
Scott C. Waring of UFO Sightings Daily believes the visage was put there by aliens and intended to serve as a monument.
While he doesn't know the name of the entity being honored, he does venture that the individual is one who, "has impressed entire worlds, maybe whole star systems..."
