Washington D.C.'s cherry blossoms reach peak bloom
The National Park Service predicted a 'peak bloom' on Thursday for the cherry blossoms at the famed Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C.
The blossoms, which have reached their last stages of development for the year, are an annual tourist attraction and tradition in the area inspiring photographers of all kinds.
Hundreds come from far and wide to catch a glimpse of the gorgeous site as the trees welcome spring with an array of beautiful pink and white flowers.
