'Fattest' Cities In America Revealed

WalletHub has done research and crunched numbers to determine which of America's cities are what they call 'the fattest.'

Rankings were determined by scores based on "fat prevalence," "weight-related health problems," and "healthy environment" for 100 metro areas.

With a total score of 76.97, Memphis, Tennessee is named as the fattest city in the country.

Not far behind it is Shreveport-Bossier City, Louisiana, with 75.24.

Click through for the top 10 'fattest' cities in America:

Spots 3 through 5 go to, in order, Indianapolis-Carmel-Anderson, Indiana; Jackson, Mississippi and New Orleans-Metairie, Louisiana.

Chattanooga, Tennessee-Georgia; Mobile, Alabama and San Antonio-New Braunfels, Texas land in places 6 through 8.

Rounding out the top 10 are Greenville-Anderson-Mauldin, South Carolina and Little Rock-North Little-Rock-Conway, Arkansas.

Honolulu, Hawaii and Reno, Nevada, finished off the 'fattest cities,' ranked at 100 and 99, respectively.
