"Fuller House" star Jodie Sweetin may be making her mark on "Dancing with the Stars" this season, but don't expect Aunt Becky to cha-cha in her footsteps.

Lori Loughlin, 51, who is a huge fan of the hit reality ballroom dance competition, was actually approached to appear on show, but she turned producers down.

"I'm absolutely terrified. I don't think I could ever do it. If I thought i could do it and wouldn't make a complete fool of myself, I might give it a try," she told AOL in an exclusive interview. "It's just the fear of i will just look like -- did you see Geraldo Rivera? God bless him, kudos to him, I'm so in awe ... But he walked through the dance and that would be me."

In the meantime, the actress, who is on hiatus from filming after season one of "Fuller House," has been pursuing an issue close to her heart -- providing clean water for those around the world who lack access.

"I mean, we're in a drought in California, and people are whining because we can't water our lawns -- and here's 663 million who don't have clean drinking water," she said.

Lori Loughlin through the years:

As a working mother of two, the issue resonates with Loughlin, because women and girls are particularly impacted -- they often bear the burden of walking miles each day to collect clean water in Jerry cans, which weigh up to 40 lbs. when full.

Loughlin has partnered with one of her favorite brands, Emergen-C, for the #40Pounds challenge, in which she's asking fans and social media users to post a photo holding anything weighing approximately 40 lbs. on Instagram or Twitter using the tag @EmergenC and #40Pounds. For each post, Emergen-C has pledged to donate $5

"$5 is huge, right? It's a lot of money. Think about it! It really is exciting and i think its important and its necessary, and I can't even wrap my head around the fact that people dont have access to clean drinking water."

It couldn't be a better partnership for Loughlin, who swears by Emergen-C packets as part of her wellness routine.

"I'm not even kidding. I take an Emergen-C packet every day. Especially when I work, and I'm on set with 200 people on a crew, I am constantly drinking it throughout the day. I don't want to jinx myself, but I did not get sick this winter," she said.

It's a good thing she didn't get sick on set. Fans of "Fuller House" will be relieved to know that her smooching partner, John Stamos, was safe from any illnesses. But not everyone escaped kissing season scot-free. Loughlin revealed how her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, felt about her locking lips with the Greek heartthrob.

"Yeah, he's jealous. He wants to kiss John Stamos, too! My golden retriever wants to kiss John Stamos!"
