Ryanair's rules for what can be carried onto a plane has some funny answers that may give some passengers who are afraid to fly a little relief.

Despite that flying phobia is entirely irrational, a little over 6% of people experience it. As a result, Ryanair allows passengers to carry on parachutes, avalanche survival kits and life jackets, to name a few items that may come in handy if the flight were, by some small chance, doomed.
