Saudi Prince sued for allegedly trashing Hollywood Hills home in drug- and stripper-fueled party
Saudi prince Aziz al Saud can really do some damage at a party. At least, that's the claim of a new lawsuit filed against the member of the royal family.
In the suit, Daniel Fitzgerald claims that he agreed to rent his Hollywood Hills home to the prince for the month of August 2015, charging $90,000 rent for the month and a $10,000 security deposit.
According to Fitzgerald, who filed the suit Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Prince Aziz — aka Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Faud — wasn't exactly a model tenant; in fact, the suit claims, he "ransacked Plaintiff's home, throwing all night parties with drugs and strippers, causing near daily disturbances to the neighborhood, and ultimately causing over $80,000 worth of property damage."
At one particular bash, to celebrate Prince Aziz's graduation from Pepperdine, the house was packed with more than 800 people, the suit claims.
"The party was out of control with guests snorting cocaine and smoking marijuana," the suit reads. "Defendants hired numerous strippers who were seen dancing naked on the kitchen's countertops."
Fitzgerald claims more than $86,000 of damage was caused during the bash.
Making matters worse, the suit claims, Prince Aziz and the person who rented the home on his behalf had demanded a reduction on the security deposit based on a claim that they had purchased insurance to cover all perils and damages during their stay, but, according to the suit, they had only acquired renter's insurance covering their own personal property.
"While Prince Aziz may believe he is above the law, this lawsuit seeks to hold the Prince accountable, proving nobody is above the law," the suit reads.
Alleging breach of written contact, intentional misrepresentation, negligent misrepresentation and negligence, the suit is seeking unspecified damages.
