Pre-teen steals cement truck, leads police on wild chase
An 11-year-old made headlines this past weekend when he lived out a scene from a video game, leading police on a high-speed chase in a stolen vehicle.
It wasn't just any motor vehicle -- the pre-teen hijacked an eight-wheel cement truck before traveling up to a speed of 70 mph.

The chase began on Highway 14 around Dodge Center, Minnesota, and lasted for over an hour while the boy changed lanes and switched between roads.
Captured on video by a local resident, the footage shows the truck, with a tire missing, making its way along a residential street while neighbors look on in disbelief.
According to CBS Minnesota, one witness claimed, "He was raised in a farming environment. He can drive tractors. He can drive trucks. He knew what he was doing." He continued, saying, "He was not stopping for anything. If there would have been a car or pedestrian in the way, it would have been disastrous."
The boy was eventually caught at a dead-end street. It apparently ended when the massive truck ran over "stop sticks" and one of its tires came off.
