Man Gets Job at Popeye's After Nabbing Robber During His Interview

New Orleans Police arrested a would-be-robber at a local fast food joint thanks to one job applicant.

Authorities say a man grabbed money from the register at a Popeyes when the cash drawer was opened to give him change for his purchase.

The restaurant's assistant manager Danyanna Metoyer, who was conducting a job interview, noticed what was going on and sprung into action, blocking the door, reports CNN.

When a tussle ensued between Metoyer and the suspect, 18-year-old Devin Washington, who was in the midst of being interviewed, grabbed the thief in a reverse bear hug.

Washington and another employee were able to hold the suspect until until police showed up and arrested him.

Following the whole ordeal, Washington was offered the job.

According to CNN, authorities have identified the alleged robber as Pablo Ciscart.
