Unless you've been firmly planted under a rock over the last several months, you've learned that Twitter has grown to be the favorite means of communication for controversial entertainer Kanye West. Over the weekend, he used the platform to weigh in on a topic that's rocked the sports world over recent weeks -- Chuck the Condor, the newly minted mascot of the Los Angeles Clippers.

On Sunday, Kanye, who apparently wasn't thrilled with how Chuck turned out, put in a public request to Clippers owner Steve Ballmer.

Now, this seemed to have a low chance of success. Ballmer was ecstatic about the unveiling of the massive condor just two weeks ago -- and besides, the Clips owner had tweeted just once since October. In defense of Chuck.

Nonetheless, Ballmer is surprisingly interested. He responded to Kanye's request just hours later.

Monday morning, the response made its way to Kanye's eyeballs. And it seems like we'll be seeing the artist at Staples Center very soon.

So there you have it. For those of you that were unsatisfied with -- or a little creeped out by -- Chuck the Condor. It appears changes may be on the horizon.
