Seattle bar has run-in with Justin Bieber: 'He was about to get bounced'
SEATTLE (KCPQ) -– Justin Bieber apparently didn't make many friends while he was in Seattle this week.
A Seattle bar owner said Thursday that he was already wary when Bieber sat down on Monday, because he'd heard through the grapevine that the singer and his entourage had skipped out on a $130 bar tab the night before at The Whisky Bar.
And, sure enough, it wasn't long before things got ugly.
"I just thought he was some punk because he looks like one and I don't follow pop music," said Rob Wilson, who's owned The Diller Room since it opened in 2007.
Wilson said celebrities frequently stop by for a drink, but that normally they give some notice and are given a secure setup in a VIP area in back.
Wilson said once his bartender told him who Bieber was, he began paying attention and immediately sensed that Bieber would be a problem. He said Bieber ordered a Jack and Coke around 10 p.m. on Monday, and turned to face the crowd in the bar.
"This guy's just sitting here like he's waiting to cause trouble," Wilson said.

Wilson said the bar's patrons mostly left Bieber alone, but that finally one "timid, quiet, Spanish couple" came up and asked for a picture.
He said Bieber's manager and bodyguards began berating the couple, and that Bieber cursed at them in Spanish, saying "you (expletive) wanna see how to take a photo?" then pushed his own phone directly in front of their faces and triggered the flash.
"Then he says – he literally says this – 'let's blow this popcicle stand,' and they leave," Wilson said.
Wilson said somebody in Bieber's entourage paid, and the group left immediately.
"He was about to get bounced," Wilson said. "I don't care who you are, you don't treat my customers that way."
For the record, Bieber did settle up at The Whisky Bar on Wednesday.
Bieber's representatives did not respond to a request to comment for this story.
