Russell Wilson gets engaged to pop star Ciara

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and pop star Ciara have been dating since April of 2015. While their love for each other has bordered on being very mushy and cheesy at times, the two have been an extremely adorable couple. It was only a matter of time before Wilson and Ciara got engaged. That time has come, according to Wilson himself.

Wilson certainly seems extremely excited about it. Hopefully Wilson won't use Google or Bing to write his vows for the wedding.

The Seahawks quarterback is coming off the best season of his NFL career. In his fourth season in the league, Wilson led the NFL with a 110.1 passer rating. He compiled an impressive stat line of 34 touchdowns and eight interceptions along with 4,024 yards passing. 2015 was his first season with more than 4,000 passing yards and 30 touchdowns. Wilson also attempted more than 30 passes per game during the regular season, the most of his career.

Ciara is best known for her singing and her acting.
