Cops: Naked woman leads officers on 100-mph chase, says 'I've been partying like a damn dog'

A naked New Mexico woman led deputies on a 100-mph car chase, and then told officers she had ingested heroin, pills and whiskey while "partying like a damn dog," authorities said.

The bizarre incident, captured on dash-cam and body cameras, started with reports of an erratic driver, according to arrest reports filed by Santa Fe County Sheriff's deputies.

Deputies chased the car as it ran red lights and reached speeds of 100 mph before plowing into a pick-up truck, the reports said.

Barbara Arellano, 51, clad only in her birthday suit, then bounded out of her Toyota 4-wheel-drive vehicle and ran screaming across traffic toward deputies, the reports say.

The woman shouted "Jehovah, Jehovah," as deputies tried to subdue and handcuff her, the video apparently shows. She fought and spit at deputies while they tried to restrain her, authorities said.

A motorist stopped and provided a blue tarp to cover the naked woman as deputies waited for paramedics.

Seated inside a cruiser, the woman is seen on tape telling deputies she suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. She says "I've been partying like a damn dog" and acknowledges taking heroin, pills and whiskey, the reports say.

She was charged with DUI, aggravated fleeing and battery on peace officers. She had an outstanding Taos warrant alleging child abuse, deputies said.

She was booked into the county jail. It was not clear Tuesday whether she was still in custody. A phone message left by InsideEdition.com with the jail was not immediately returned.
