It's official: Jimmy Kimmel will host the 2016 Primetime Emmy Awards on ABC.

After early reports that Kimmel was in talks to host, the news was officially announced early Monday morning. Kimmel himself also tweeted the news.

The 2016 show will mark Kimmel's second time hosting the Emmys, serving as emcee of the show in 2012, when it also aired on ABC.

"I am excited to be hosting the Emmys again," the Jimmy Kimmel Live host said in a statement. "I have a feeling I'm going to be great."
