Authorities say an Idaho pastor was shot and critically injured in the parking lot of his church Sunday, just a day after giving a prayer at a rally for Republican candidate Ted Cruz.

Pastor Tim Remington was reportedly shot in the shoulder, lung and back outside the Altar Church, where he is senior pastor. He is expected to survive.

Police have identified a suspect, 30-year-old Kyle Odom, whom they consider armed and dangerous. Members of the church say they're not only praying for Remington, but for Odom as well.

A source close to Remington's family told KHQ-TV he and Odom might have known each other before the shooting, but the nature of their relationship is unclear.
