Barbra Streisand and 'Star Wars' actor Daisy Ridley recorded together
The force is strong in this collaboration. Barbra Streisand has spent a session in a recording studio with Daisy Ridley, the British actor who starred as Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Ridley posted a string of Oscars photos followed with a snap of herself and Streisand posing in front of a mixing desk. The caption reads: "I'm gonna end this spate of pictures detailing my insane weekend with this... Ummmmmmmmmmmm.."
Barbra Streisand to Women in Hollywood: 'We Have to Join Forces'
It's not known what came of their time together, or whether their efforts could appear on a follow-up to Streisand's Billboard 200 chart-topping duets album Partners.
The collab comes on the heels of The Hollywood Reporter's 2015 Women in Entertainment event last December, where Streisand appealed to women to work together, rather than against one another.

"We have to join forces. Women are nurturers, just by our physiology," she told the audience while receiving the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award at the event at Milk Studios in Los Angeles. "We come from the heart, and our instinct for love and compassion is something that this chaotic world needs more than ever."
