Lady Gaga's 88th annual Academy Awards performance touched the hearts of many on Sunday evening, including best actress winner Brie Larson.
At the finale of Gaga's live rendition of The Hunting Ground's "Til It Happens to You,"a documentary focusing on sexual assault on college campuses, a group of male and female sexual assault survivors joined the singer on stage. Each extended their arms open, showcasing words and phrases on their forearms, including "It Happened to Me" and "Survivor."

Gaga, who co-wrote the song with Diane Warren, showed her support for the victims at the end of her performance by standing in unity with arms held high before the awards cut to commercial break.
As each survivor filed in line to take their seat, the Room star could be seen standing and giving a warm, embracing hug to each survivor as they walked past her one-by-one.
