Christian Bale is a hugely talented, deeply private Oscar winner.
He was there Sunday night on behalf of his film "The Big Short," which won the best adapted screenplay Oscar and was up for best picture (losing to "Spotlight"). But you can see an interview with his costar above.
He's not one to do sultry magazine spreads, but the guy appreciates great skincare.
To wit: groomer Diana Schmidtke got him ready on Sunday by using two of our favorite products: La Mer's renewal oil and La Mer's lifting eye serum.
The oil, she says, "is great for men with beards. This multi-purpose oil also hydrates skin under facial hair and it makes your beard extra soft. For an immediate lift around the eye my secret weapon is the lifting eye serum."
