Woman allegedly tries to smuggle $10,000 worth of cocaine through JFK in vagina
JAMAICA, N.Y.(WPIX) — Customs uncovered a half pound of cocaine inside a Queens woman's vagina at JFK Airport.
Shekira Thompson, 24, arrived at JFK from Kingston, Jamaica Sunday afternoon.
At 2 p.m., she went through customs and was "sweating and acting very nervous," according to Port Authority Police.
Police say she was then taken to a private search room. She went through a body X-ray scan which came back negative.
