2016 Independent Spirit Awards red carpet arrivals showcase spring looks

Spring was the name of the fashion game at the 2016 Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica, Calif. on Saturday. All of the big names hit the beach for the show from Jessica Biel and Brie Larson to Michael Keaton and Kevin Jeong.

The ladies took advantage of the warm climate and the low-key award show to rock a series of bright and floral frocks. Jessica Biel stunned in a bright blue number from Roland Mouret with a bold pattern while "Spotlight" star Rachel McAdams donned a bright orange top and cream skirt for the occasion. Marisa Tomei and Frieda Pinto went the floral route with pretty dresses with bold blooms in pastel colors.
