A 79-year-old woman had a pair of hearing aids and a walker stolen from her while attending a Kansas men's basketball game at Allen Fieldhouse last week, police say.
According to the Lawrence Journal-World, the hearing aids were left unattended in a bag attached to the walker before or during the team's game against Oklahoma State on Feb. 15. The hearing aids reportedly cost a total of $6,000, while the walker is valued at $100.
KU police Capt. James Anguiano. says the belongings were stolen between 4:40 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The game tipped off at 8 p.m.
The stolen items have not been recovered by police.
