NBA nicknames have taken on lives of their own over recent decades.

Historically very good, the current generation has been known to crank out some terrible monikers for hoops stars. Now, there are still an array of great ones -- but the bad ones? Oh, they're bad.

So with this in mind, in bringing you the best of the best when it comes to nicknames, it's also important to show off the bottom of the barrel, too -- it makes the good ones look that much better.
