We're heading into spring (thank goodness), but it's never too early to start thinking about next fall's wardrobe, especially after the fall and winter collections were just shown at New York Fashion Week. While some of the trends we saw for fall 2016 were brand new, there was quite a bit of crossover with the spring 2016 collections (which are out now!) from a trend standpoint -- most notably, '70s-inspired designs.

So what are the biggest trends for fall 2016, according to Rachel Zoe, Jason Wu, Ralph Lauren, Stacey Bendet, Jenna Lyons, Tory Burch and more? See our list below and click through the gallery to see each look.

1. Flare/wide-leg trousers and jeans
2. 1970s-inspired pieces
3. Patchwork
4. Low buns
5. Metallics and glitter
6. Feathers
