Kesha Breaks Down in Tears as Judge Denies Her Request To Terminate Her Contract With Sony


Kesha broke down in tears on Friday in a Manhattan courtroom when a judge denied her request for a preliminary injunction that would have allowed her to temporarily nullify her Sony Records contract and free her from working with Dr. Luke, the producer she accused of drugging and raping her.

Kesha pleaded to be removed from working with Dr. Luke, real name Luke Gottwald, and says she fears that she'll be penalized by the record label for not working with him. While the judge failed to come to Kesha's defense, it hasn't stopped a barrage of stars from taking to social media to express their concern over her situation. The hashtag #FreeKesha has taken over Twitter.
