Gwen Stefani Finally Spills on Song for Blake Shelton

Gwen Stefani can't keep quiet about her love for Blake Shelton!

After Stefani dropped a hint about her main squeeze by naming a bar Blake's in her live music video for "Make Me Like You," the stunning singer is coming clean about why she gave her man a shoutout -- it's because she wrote the song for him!

The singer confessed that the single is about her boyfriend and fellow "The Voice" coach during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday.

"I will admit that that song is about that guy," the 46-year-old singer shared.

"That song is about Blake Shelton?" Kimmel asked, clarifying her remark.

"It is, actually, yeah!" Stefani confirmed.

The lyrics are practically an ode to their love story, so it isn't a huge surprise that she penned the single for him. "I was fine before I met you/ I was broken but fine/ I was lost and uncertain/ But my heart was still mine," and "Why'd you have to go and make me like you?/ Yeah this is a feeling I'm not used to," she coos in the song.

Stefani split with her husband, Gavin Rossdale in August 2015 and she already wrote her single, "Used to Love You," about her marriage's tragic ending.

"What's so crazy is that sometimes tragedy...if you really absorb it...you can turn it into something beautiful," Stefani explained, adding that her upcoming album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, is "about taking something that was awful and healing from it," she said.

Shelton, who was going through a divorce with his wife, Miranda Lambert, around the same time managed to woo Stefani -- and as they say the rest is history. And in this case, now it is music history.
