UFC fighter Ronda Rousey was so distraught after losing last year's bantamweight championship fight to Holly Holm that she thought about taking her own life.
"I was literally sitting there and thinking about killing myself," Rousey told Ellen DeGeneres on a show airing Tuesday. "I haven't told anybody that."
Rousey stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" for her first sit-down interview since losing to Holm. Rousey admited to feeling suicidal immediately after the fight, saying she felt that "no one gives a shit about me anymore without this."
Luckily, the suicidal thoughts didn't last, thanks to support from boyfriend Travis Browne.
