French Riviera goes gold for annual lemon festival

Updated

Giant sculptures decorated with oranges and lemons lined the French Riviera in Menton, France this week ahead of the start of the "Fete du Citron," the country's traditional lemon festival.

The theme for this year's festival is inspired by "Cinecitta," the large film studio in Rome that is considered the hub of Italian cinema.

Fete du Citron's 83rd edition runs from from February 13 until March 2, 2016.
