The best blush for your skin tone
Blush is one of our makeup staples. It can give you cheekbones, it makes you look younger, and it warms up your complexion which is a must as we move into these colder months. But there is one trick to blush: and that's finding the right shade for your skin tone.
If you have fair skin, pale pink will look the most natural. When choosing a pale pink, it should almost match the inside of your lip. You can also apply a peach shade, as peach is the most universally flattering shade. Try these options from Elizabeth Arden or Tarte.

If you have yellow undertones, peach will look especially flattering on you. Just make sure that it has a slight shimmer to it, as the shimmer will be easier to blend on your skin. You could go for Maybelline or NARS for this shade.
If you have medium skin and you want a natural flush, pick up an apricot shade, like this one from Too Faced or this from Dolce & Gabbana. This will give you natural enhancement. Now, if you'd like something more edgy, a muted mauve is the way to go for you. It'll give your skin depth. And, for that "I've just come in from the snow" look, pick out a soft berry, like the one from Tarte. It's bright, but soft and pretty.
If you have olive skin, this means you have green undertones. So, an orangey peach like MAC's will give you a warm glow. And for a dewy effect, use a warm peach cream blush like this one from Josie Maran. For that everyday blush, get a rose shade similar to this one from Shiseido. It's the perfect middle of the road color for you.
And, if you have dark skin, go for a raisin colored blush or a brick colored one. It's important for you to get warm tones so raisin is a great neutral, where brick is a little brighter and it'll pack a little more punch. Maybelline makes a Master Glaze Glistening Blush Stick that you may like. But the best way to get that natural gorgeous flush, is with a bright tangerine. Here's to having defined cheeks and always looking young and fresh.
