Two full Mel Trotter buses shuttled men and women over to Serendipity Hair Design on Sunday. It's the first year the hair salon has done anything like this, and they hope to do it twice a year, every year after the success they had this time.

"We always want to give back in any way we can," said Alessia Ucello, a stylist at Serendipity Hair Design.
Ucello said she thought of the idea, and had wanted to give it a go for a while. She recently called Mel Trotter and they loved the idea, so they put it into practice on Super Bowl Sunday. They offered a variety of services to everyone who came whether it was getting their hair cut, nails done, pedicures, and eyebrows waxed.
"Just because the holidays are over doesn't mean people in need don't still have a need," said Rosie Espinoza, owner of the salon.
