James Corden got to take a ride with one of his idols, Elton John, in a new installment of Carpool Karaoke.

In a segment that aired during Corden's post-Super Bowl 50 edition of "The Late Late Show," the host picked up the legendary singer for a drive around LA on a rainy day.

Corden couldn't contain his smile as he and Sir Elton sang the 1970s hit "Your Song." John admitted that he knew the song was a major step forward the moment he played it for the first time.

John also admitted he can never buy one of just anything, including buying four copies of every album he wants. When Corden told him iTunes is a good substitute for that, John said he does not have a phone, but one of his security personnel will usually carry one.

Then, in a scene right out of "Almost Famous," the pair belted out one of John's best known songs, "Tiny Dancer." But '90s kids got their biggest treat when they sang the opening theme from Disney's "The Lion King."
