Beyonce Says 'Formation' Makes Her Proud



After owning the Super Bowl and dropping news of her world tour, Beyoncé has released another epic but unsurprising announcement: She'll be starting a new fund as part of her #BEYGood initiative with United Way to support the Flint Child Health and Development Fund. The money will go toward providing the children of Flint, Michigan with the nutrition they need during the Flint Water Crisis, reported Michigan Live.

Live Nation entertainment provided the details of Bey's initiative:

"True to her life's work of always giving back, fans will be given the opportunity to participate in Beyoncé's #BeyGOOD initiative supporting local United Way programs and the continued work surrounding the water crisis in Flint, Michigan. United Way of Genesee County has been at the forefront of distributing thousands of filtration pitchers, faucet mount filters, replacement cartridges and truckloads of water to underserved populations to address immediate needs in Flint Michigan. They are also partnering with the Community Foundation of Greater Flint to create a fund that will address long-term developmental, education, nutrition and health needs of the children affected by the Flint Water Crisis."

She joins Rosie O'Donnell, Seth Meyers, Aretha Franklin, Jimmy Fallon, Madonna, Mark Wahlberg, Eminem and more in in their efforts to provide either money or bottled water to the community of Genesee County.
