The New York tabloid, which has for weeks pummeled Trump, depicted the Manhattan billionaire as a clown under the headline: "Dead clown walking." When Trump launched his campaign last June, the Daily News had similarly painted him as a clown.
The paper also wrote that Trump sounded "like a beaten man" in his "morose" concession speech on Monday.

The New York Post, meanwhile, has been far less critical of Trump.
The tabloid opted to focus its headline -- "CRUZ-IFIED" -- on Cruz, who won Iowa despite polls predicting he would lose to Trump in the state's caucuses.
