Kevin Hart didn't take too kindly to a Twitter comment that criticized his movies.

"When are black celebs like @KevinHart4real and @MarlonWayans gonna stop doing stereotypical movies?" TaShyon Laneigh tweeted on Thursday.

Hart's Ride Along 2 comedy came out earlier this month, and Wayans flick, Fifty Shades of Black, was released on Friday.

A few hours later, the comedian hit back at the remark, writing: "When are black people going to stop being so hard on their own kind...We can't do better until we support each other."

Hart -- who has been in Europe promoting Ride Along 2 -- added: "I make movies for everyone, I'm actually overseas promoting my movie on an international level."

Several of Hart's 25 million Twitter followers seemed to support his message. "I'm busting my a** so other actors of color can eventually get the title 'Black Movie Category' removed from the projects that we do," he continued.

Further calling out the Laneigh, he proclaimed: "So @tashyonlaneigh, I want you to realize that people with your mindset and level of thinking are the reason why our movies get categorized."

Not stopping there, he added: "In the future @tashyonlaneigh, I don't want to hear you complain about any of the problems that black actors are having because you're part of the problem."

Hart then used his rant to promote his new comedy: "With that being said go see Ride Along 2 because it's a good 'MOVIE' ...now back to your regular scheduled programs 😂😂😂."

The 36-year-old star's Twitter comments come after it was announced that he will be presenting at this year's Academy Awards despite several stars declaring that they're boycotting the event due to the lack of diversity in the acting categories.

Hart's Ride Along 2 co-star, Ice Cube, has voiced his disdain for the awards show after his N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton, was largely snubbed by the Academy. The film only earned one nomination for Best Original Screenplay.

"I'm not pissed. You know, I'm not surprised," Cube said during his appearance on The Wendy Williams Show. "It's the Oscars, they do what they do."
