Colorado Parks and Wildlife recently released information about a bull moose that was lured to a backyard with salt, but become agitated after getting his antlers entangled in a swing.
In a video the agency uploaded, officers can be seen and heard discussing potential ways to free the animal, like duct taping a knife to a stick to free him.

Then, later on, there's the sound of a pop which is the taser they used on him while someone approached to cut the rope.
Tasers have been used before on larger animals that need to be temporarily immobilized.
The residents did not end up getting a citation, and they expressed their remorse over the dangerous situation the moose and officers had faced because of their actions.
