Company Restores Hair With 3D Printing Technology

INDIANA (WGN) -- A company based in Indiana has spent the last 28 years helping people with hair loss issues, and today they're using new technology to make it happen.

Mane Image Hair Restoration uses non-invasive 3D technology, known as CNC hair system, to restore hair. CNC is an advanced, non-invasive, dermatologically-tested, full or partial hair replacement system.

The system uses non-processed, natural human hair that is sewn to an adhesive hair "prosthetic" which the patient can wear at all times, even when they're swimming.
