When you've custom-built a supermarket, an airport hangar and a casino, how exactly do you outdo yourself?

Well, Chanel creative genius Karl Lagerfeld went one further with the line's spring/summer 2016 collection and showcased his posh clothes in a dollhouse tableau of sorts. It was held at the Grand Palais, and Chanel built a runway complete with grass and a blue sky. Models walked out of the wooden house and catwalked through the grass. (And above, we couldn't help but add an interview with another of our favorite fashion gurus, Diane von Furstenberg, an icon and a role model).

Model Cara Delevingne and actress Diane Kruger, who is buddies with Lagerfeld -- she's told us that they're friends in Paris and she calls him directly when she needs something to wear, so that must be nice -- were there to lend support.

The clothes were a new spin on what we love from Chanel: lean silhouettes, gorgeous fabrics and an eye for intricate detail. And the shoes. Oh, the shoes!

Model BFFs Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner both walked in the show. Kendall wore dramatic black.

And there's Gigi Hadid, wearing the season's most coveted cape -- at least, that's our fearless prediction.
