Allison Williams got engaged during an episode of 'The Bachelor'
For all the talk of love and romance and "the one," The Bachelor franchise hasn't produced many successful marriages. But ABC and host Chris Harrison might be able to claim Allison Williams's union as a win for the franchise.
Last night, while chatting with Harrison during Bachelor Live, superfan Williams recounted how her husband, Ricky Van Veen, actually proposed during their weekly Bach viewing party. (Cute, but I mean, down in front, right?)
I would not be married to my husband if it weren't for this show. We went to a weekly viewing party every week, and it was like a big group date, but with both genders equally distributed ... it was how we met up. So where the viewing party is, is at my friend Lee Eisenberg's house. And he has a couch where we always watch the show. And that's where Ricky proposed to me, was on Lee Eisenberg's couch.
Williams did not reveal, however, if her engagement ring was donated by Neil Lane.
