Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is the newest face of Under Armour

Under Armour announced today that actor, producer and WWE champion Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will now be working with the performance brand to create new products and support the brand's Connected Fitness initiatives.

"The Rock" was a natural choice for the fitness apparel company. "His values and commitment to health and fitness directly align with Under Armour's brand mission to make all athletes better and we look forward to working with him for many years to come," said Todd Montesano, Under Armour's Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Entertainment.

As part of Under Armour's all-star team, which includes Stephen Curry, Tom Brady, Michael Phelps, Lindsey Vonn and more, Johnson will develop his own original content inspired by his lifestyle, fitness regimen and philanthropic initiatives. You can also expect new Under Armour apparel and accessories inspired by Johnson's films.

"We wanted to empower as many people as possible to attack their goals, so we partnered with the best innovators in the health and fitness business. Together with Under Armour, we will deliver game-changing products to help people get after it and chase greatness," said the actor.

The first products to be released will be a Rock-inspired backpack and duffle bag that will be available on underarmour.com and in select store locations within the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for those items, which are sure to be the hottest new workout accessories on the market.
