Airlines waive change fees ahead of incoming winter storm
Major airlines are already preparing for this weekend's snowstorm by offering travel waivers to customers.
American Airlines is allowing customers traveling through nine airport between Philadelphia and southern Virginia to change flight without penalty. The customers must fly between Thursday and Sunday to be eligible.
Southwest is allowing customers in the northeast area to reschedule if they plan to fly Friday or Saturday.
And Delta is waiving its change fee to travelers planning to fly at 19 airports between Boston and Washington this weekend.
The airlines should know by either by today or tomorrow if they will cancel flights. For more information, check your respective carrier.
