Ways to use your dishwasher other than cleaning dirty dishes

Your dishwasher can be used to cook vegetables and even poach salmon! Foods tightly wrapped in foil can be steamed, but just remember to not add soap.
Ladies, save time buy throwing your plastic makeup brushes in the dishwasher as well. Instead of being stuck in the laundry room, throw your sports gear, and dish sponges and towels in the dishwasher as well. Who needs a whites, colors, AND miscellaneous pile?
