Amy Schumer was quick to shut-down a sexist tweet on Monday.

The comedian made a much-lauded move on Twitter after a film critic, who goes by the name of Lights Camera Jackson, made an ill-fated joke about Schumer spending the night with multiple men.

The original tweet, which was later deleted, read, "Spent the night with @amyschumer. Certainly not the first guy to write that. #CriticsChoiceAwards." The post was accompanied by a picture of the comedian and critic smiling together on the Critics' Choice red carpet.

Schumer didn't take the joke as lightly as Jackson would've hoped: She responded with a quip of her own, saying, "I get it. Cause I'm a whore? Glad I took a photo with you. Hi to your dad."

Her tweet quickly made the rounds online, which prompted a ton of negative feedback for the film critic and praise for the comedian. Jackson soon apologized, which Schumer accepted gracefully.
