TMZ Sports cornered Ronda Rousey at the airport and asked her point blank about her rematch with Holly Holm and the former champion was very blunt in saying that while the match has been pushed back due to other commitments, it will undoubtedly happen.

"It's sometime later in the year. They haven't told me an exact date or location, but it's a decision we'll all make together. I'm just waiting for what options they are going to give me."

Pressed further about whether she was speaking just about her return to the UFC or whether she was acknowledging her desire for a rematch again Holly Holm, Rousey was fairly cordial, but direct.

Of course, that's all I want to do. What did you think we were talking about?"

Of course, the luster of the rematch may be a bit worn off by the time Rousey gets around to fighting Holm. Before Holm gets another look at Rousey, she must first defend her title against Meisha Tate at UFC 197. If she retains the title, the match with Rousey could be huge with the title on the line. If there is no title in the mix, the match could still have some weight, but UFC would undoubtedly like the add the title angle to the picture to sell it as a complete package of redemption or proof.
